Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development

The UBC Department of Psychiatry actively undertakes a wide range of Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that include regularly occurring Grand Rounds at each of the teaching hospitals, and various Division and Hospital-sponsored one-day workshops and Symposia. |
In an effort to coordinate, facilitate and promote CME activities, a Department-wide Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development (CME/CPD) Committee is in place and is comprised of each of the teaching hospital directors of CME, a resident representative and the Director of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development. We are currently organizing the First Department-Wide CME Needs Survey, which will be conducted online, in the Fall of 2009.
