Brief CV

Stacy Elliott is a Sexual Medicine Physician whose interests lie in the sexual and reproductive consequences of medical or surgical problems, particularly neurological disability. She is a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Urology, University of British Columbia. She is the Director of the BC Center for Sexual Medicine, Co-Director for the Vancouver Sperm Retrieval Clinic, Medical Director of the Men’s Sexual Health Service at the Prostate Center, and the Physician consultant to the GF Strong Sexual Rehabilitation Service.. She is currently the Chair of the Canadian Male Sexual Health Council, and participates on several national and international advisory boards regarding treatment of erection and ejaculatory and hypogonadal disorders following surgery or injury, particularly prostate cancer and spinal cord injury. She is an internationally recognized expert in sexual rehabilitation and fertility following spinal cord in jury. She is the author of many peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and teaches at the UBC Medical School for undergraduates and post-graduates and does extensive CME for practicing physicians. She is also involved in many clinical and academic research trials as either principle or co – investigator in the area of sexual functioning in prostate cancer and disability, and is an active faculty member and researcher of the prestigious International Collaboration of Repair Discoveries (ICORD).
